Friends of Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus

Membership of The Friends offers you the chance to become part of our Chorus family throughout the year with the opportunity to keep up to date with Chorus plans, help out at concerts and events and to attend an Annual Dinner where you’ll be able to help choose the accompanying singing programme; to be performed, of course, by members of The Chorus.

The Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus has been an integral part of cultural life in Sheffield for more than 75 years,  providing high quality music for local and national audiences. For the first time members of the music-loving public are offered the opportunity to become part of this vibrant, focused organisation and to contribute to its continuing success.

Choose from three membership options:

Supporter of the Chorus

For an annual subscription of £25, you will have access to an informative web page, subsidised programme vouchers, the possibility to take part in our events and to attend our Annual Friends Dinner once a season with a concert performance by the Chorus.

Friend of the Chorus

For an annual subscription of £120, you will have access to the web page, subsidised programme vouchers, the opportunity to sit-in at rehearsals and take part in events plus a free invitation to the Annual Friends Dinner with the chance to help choose pieces for the Chorus performance.

Friend for Life

For a one-off minimum subscription of £1,000, you will be able to choose a way to mark their contribution through a programme acknowledgement, a concert dedication or other tangible means. They will of course have the treats offered to Friends...for life!

All members of the Friends organisation will be able to purchase exclusive items designed for Friends or previously restricted to Singing members of the Chorus.
